Most of us do not need ten new products. We need a routine we can actually stick to. That is why I created the Glow Reset Planner, a simple 30-day planner that helps you track your hair care, skin care and everyday habits in one place.

Glow Reset Planner cover, a printable hair, skin and wellness planner with a 30-day challenge

In this post I will explain what is inside, how to use it, and I will share a free 7-day mini reset you can start today, even if you never buy the planner.

Why habits matter more than products

It is easy to buy a new serum, a new hair mask or a new supplement and hope for the best. The problem is that without a routine, it is hard to know what is helping and what is not. When you track what you do, you start to notice patterns: how your skin feels after a poor night of sleep, how your hair behaves after a deep conditioning day, or how often you really use the products sitting on your shelf.

A planner will not do the work for you, but it makes the work easier to see. Small actions that you repeat for a few weeks add up, and writing them down keeps you honest and motivated.

What is the Glow Reset Planner?

The Glow Reset Planner is a 20-page, undated PDF planner for hair, skin and wellness. You can print it at home or fill it in on a tablet using apps like GoodNotes or Notability. It comes in both US Letter and A4 sizes, so it works whether you are in the US, the UK or elsewhere.

Here is what is inside:

  • 30-Day Glow Reset Challenge: one small, doable action for each day.
  • 4 Weekly Glow Trackers: track your morning and evening routine, SPF, hair care step, water, sleep, movement and mood.
  • Routine Builder: plan a simple morning and evening routine, and list the products you love, want to try or want to avoid.
  • Skin and Hair Profile: write down your skin type, hair type, porosity and concerns so you know your starting point.
  • Hair Wash Day Log: record what you used and how your hair felt afterwards.
  • Hair Growth and Scalp Tracker: a monthly log for length, shedding and scalp feel.
  • Water, Supplement and Sleep Tracker: a simple monthly grid for your daily habits.
  • Progress Photo Pages: a place to compare photos taken in the same light.
  • Weekly Reset and Monthly Review: short check-ins so you can plan the next week and learn from the last one.

The pages are linked, so on a tablet you can tap the contents page to jump straight to any section.

If you want to test the idea before buying anything, copy this list into your notes app or onto paper and tick it off for one week.

  • Day 1: Take a clear photo of your skin and hair in natural light. This is your starting point.
  • Day 2: Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up, and remove your makeup before bed.
  • Day 3: Wear sunscreen on your face, even if you are indoors or the weather is cloudy.
  • Day 4: Change your pillowcase and clean your hairbrush.
  • Day 5: Give yourself a gentle 5-minute scalp massage while your hair is dry or while you shampoo.
  • Day 6: Go for a 10-minute walk outside and aim for a full night of sleep.
  • Day 7: Look back at the week. What was easy? What did you skip? Write down one habit you want to keep.

Notice that none of these steps require buying anything new. That is the point of a reset: start with the basics you can control.

How to use the planner in 3 simple steps

  1. Set your starting point. Fill in your goals, skin and hair profile, and take your first photos.
  2. Keep your routine small. Choose 3 to 5 steps for the morning and evening. Add only one new product at a time, and patch test new products first.
  3. Review every week. Use the weekly page to see what you did, what you skipped and what you want to change.

Who is this planner for?

It is a good fit if you like to see your progress on paper, you are restarting your self-care routine, you want to understand what works for your hair, or you simply enjoy a planner that feels calm and uncluttered.

It may not be for you if you prefer an app that sends reminders, or if you are looking for medical or treatment advice. The planner is a tracking tool and not a substitute for professional care.

Tips to stay consistent for 30 days

  • Keep the planner somewhere you will see it, such as next to your skincare or on your bedside table.
  • Pair your tracking with something you already do, like brushing your teeth.
  • If you miss a day, simply continue the next day. A missed day does not ruin the month.
  • Take photos once every two weeks, not every day. Changes are easier to see over time.

Stress and sleep also play a big part in how we feel and how we look. If that is something you struggle with, you may like my guide on how to reduce cortisol levels naturally.
